The VPS and Dedicated modules import OVH's own product catalog into Blesta and keep it synchronized — plans become packages with storefront descriptions and specifications, OVH addons become configurable options, and every price carries your margin. Public Cloud has no order catalog, so this article does not apply to it (its instance price is the Blesta package price you set).

Import products

On the module's Manage page each OVH Account row shows an Import Products section that lists every orderable plan from the live OVH catalog, with its specifications (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth) and its OVH monthly and yearly cost. To import:

1. Tick the plans you want to sell (the top checkbox selects all; plans already imported show Imported).
2. Set the Margin (%), the Package Group, the Status for New Packages (Restricted to review before sale, or Active to sell at once) and the Offered Billing Terms (monthly, yearly, or both).
3. Click Import Selected Plans.

Each plan becomes a Blesta package with the OVH product name, an HTML description built from the plan's technical specifications, margin-applied prices for the selected terms, and its configurable options created immediately. The description and name are written once at import — edit them freely; the sync never overwrites them.

The Margin (%)

Every VPS/Dedicated package has a Margin (%) field. Each synced price is:

Blesta price = OVH catalog price × (1 + margin / 100)

rounded to 2 decimals. The margin applies to the configurable options always, and to the package's own price when Price Sync is enabled (imports enable it automatically). Change the margin on the package and the next daily sync reprices everything.

Monthly and yearly terms

OVH sells a discounted 12-month commitment on most plans. The module maps it directly:

• The monthly Blesta price comes from OVH's standard monthly price.
• The yearly Blesta price comes from OVH's 12-month commitment price (upfront12). When a plan has no commitment offer, yearly = 12 × monthly.
• When a client buys yearly, the module orders with the 12-month commitment at OVH, so your cost matches your price. Addons without a commitment offer fall back to monthly for that line only.

The Offered Billing Terms setting (per package, and as an import default) controls which terms exist: monthly only, yearly only, or both. The sync maintains prices only for the enabled terms.

Caution: a client who cancels a yearly service early leaves the rest of the OVH 12-month commitment on your OVH account. Price your yearly margin with that risk in mind.

Price Sync (per package)

When Price Sync is on, the daily sync updates the package's own monthly/yearly prices in place from the OVH catalog. Turn it off to price the package by hand — the options still sync. Packages created before this feature keep their hand-set prices unless you opt in.

Offered Options (per package)

The Offered Options checkboxes on the package select which configurable options the storefront shows:

• Location (datacenter) and Operating System — free choices read from the plan (VPS OS choices include cPanel/Plesk panel images and Windows; on VPS a panel/Windows image adds the matching OVH license addon to the order automatically).
• OVH addon families — paid options (licenses, backups, disks, RAM/storage/bandwidth on Eco dedicated) priced with your margin for both terms.

Deselect a family and the sync hides it from the order form. On Eco dedicated plans the mandatory families (RAM, storage, bandwidth) are still ordered at OVH — the package default or the plan's first addon — even when hidden.

The daily sync

The Sync OVH VPS Catalog / Sync OVH Dedicated Server Catalog cron task runs daily and, for every package assigned directly to a module row (packages assigned via a module group are not synced):

1. Updates the package's base prices (Price Sync packages only) and every option price from the live catalog, margin applied.
2. Creates or updates the configurable option group per package (OVH VPS - {package name} / OVH Dedicated - {package name}).
3. Applies your retired-plan action: when a plan leaves the OVH catalog, the sync applies the row's When OVH Retires a Plan setting. Hide sets the package to Restricted (the default). Out of stock keeps the package visible with a quantity of 0, so the storefront shows it as out of stock. Existing services keep working either way. When the row has Automatically restore packages when their plan returns enabled, the sync restores the package (status or saved quantity) when its plan is back. Packages you changed by hand are never touched.
4. Shows sold-out dedicated plans as out of stock (Dedicated module only): when the OVH availability API reports no datacenter stock for a plan, the sync sets the package quantity to 0. When only some datacenters are sold out, the sync hides those values from the Location option instead, so a client cannot pick an empty datacenter. Both return automatically when OVH has stock again — no setting needed, a stock-out is temporary.
5. Imports new plans automatically on OVH Account rows with Automatically import new OVH plans enabled, using the row's default margin, package group, status and terms.

The row's Hide the OVH brand in option names checkbox removes the "OVH" prefix from synced option labels and value names, for a white-label storefront.

Don't hand-edit the synced options (names, values or prices) — the next sync rebuilds them from the OVH catalog. Package-level settings (margin, terms, price sync, offered options) are yours; the option group contents are the module's.

What clients see

On the order form, clients pick the location, the operating system and any addons like normal Blesta configurable options; their choices are ordered from OVH as part of the same auto-paid order.

Cron tasks at a glance

All are Module tasks under Settings > Company > Automation and require the main Blesta cron to be running. The 5-minute tasks are what move services from pending to active — if new services sit pending forever, check the cron first.
