Troubleshooting

This article lists the messages of the SystemFreaks Update Checker and what to do.

"This package is ionCube-encoded and the server has no ionCube Loader"

The SystemFreaks extensions are encoded. Ask your host to enable ionCube Loader 15 or later for your PHP version, then click Download again. The Manage page of the plugin shows the installed loader version.

"This package needs ionCube Loader 15.0"

Your loader is older than the version the package needs. Ask your host to update the ionCube Loader, then try again.

"The package server refused the download"

Our server did not accept the request. Possible causes:

  • The license key is missing or not valid. Check the Manage page of the plugin.
  • The IP address of your server is not the address of your license. Open a ticket with your server IP.
  • Too many downloads in one hour. Wait one hour, then try again.

"The package signature is missing or not valid"

The downloaded package did not pass the signature check. Click Check Now, then Download again. When the message stays, open a ticket.

"The package checksum does not match"

The download was not complete. Click Download again.

The folder is not writable

The web server must be able to write to plugins/, components/modules/, components/gateways/nonmerchant/, components/gateways/merchant/ and the Blesta uploads directory. Set the owner or the permissions of these folders, then try again.

The menu link of a new plugin does not show

Since version 1.4.1 the plugin clears the staff navigation cache after each install. On an older version, log out and log in again, or wait two hours for the cache to expire.

The pages of an extension show "License Required"

The license of this install is not valid. Open Settings > Company > Plugins > Installed > Manage next to SystemFreaks Update Checker, check the key and click Save. The red bar in the staff area shows the same state.

A page shows "cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader"

The loader on your server is older than version 15. Ask your host to update the ionCube Loader.

The History shows "Failed"

Open History and read the reason next to the action. The most common reasons are the messages above. When the reason is not clear, open a ticket with the text of the History row.
