Tools > SystemFreaks Update Checker lists every extension of the suite in three tabs: Plugins, Modules and Gateways. Each row shows the logo, the name, the installed version, the author and a short description. Blesta's own extension pages show the same rows.

Install an extension

1. Select the tab of the extension type.
2. Click Download next to the extension. The plugin downloads the package from our server, checks it and unpacks it into your Blesta. The row now shows Downloaded, not installed.
3. Click Install. The plugin registers the extension with Blesta.

The extension is ready. A plugin shows its menu link at once. A module or a gateway shows under Settings > Company > Modules or Settings > Company > Payment Gateways, where you add the account details.

Remove Files deletes a downloaded folder that you did not install.

Update an extension

1. Click Check Now to refresh the list.
2. Click Update next to an extension with a newer version.

The plugin keeps a backup of the old folder in the Blesta uploads directory, puts the new files in place and runs the upgrade of the extension. When the upgrade fails, the plugin puts the old files back.

Uninstall an extension

1. Click Uninstall next to the extension.
2. Confirm the dialog.

The plugin runs the Blesta uninstall and removes the folder. The plugin refuses to uninstall a module or a gateway while services or transactions still use it. When another company of your Blesta still uses the extension, the folder stays.

Manage

Manage opens the settings page of the extension in Blesta.

History

History shows the last 50 actions with the date, the action, the extension, the version and the result.

Dashboard widget

The widget SystemFreaks Suite on the staff dashboard shows the license state, the number of installed suite extensions and the pending updates. Enable it under Manage Widgets on the dashboard.
