The OVH Dedicated Servers module sells every OVH dedicated range — Eco (Kimsufi, So you Start, Rise) and Bare Metal (Advance, Scale, High Grade) — with auto-ordering or import of servers you already own. Day-to-day operation is in OVH Dedicated Servers — Service Management.
Upload ovh_dedicated to components/modules/, then go to Settings > Company > Modules > Available and click Install on OVH Dedicated Servers.
| Range | Where to order | Endpoint |
|---|---|---|
| Eco (Kimsufi / So you Start / Rise) | main OVH account | ovh-eu / ovh-ca |
| Bare Metal (Advance / Scale / High Grade) | main OVH account | ovh-eu / ovh-ca / ovh-us |
| Legacy Kimsufi / So you Start accounts | manage only | kimsufi-* / soyoustart-* |
Legacy brand tokens can manage servers already on those old accounts, but new Eco orders go through the main endpoints. The US endpoint is a separate legal entity (separate credentials) and has no Eco range.
On the module's Manage page click Add OVH Account: name, endpoint, OVH Subsidiary (must match the endpoint) and the three API keys, minted with rights on /me/*, /order/*, /dedicated/*, /ip/*, /services/* — see OVH API Credentials, Endpoints & Subsidiaries. The connection is validated before the row saves.
The row also has an Enable the KVM / IPMI console tab checkbox, off by default: the OVH-hosted console reveals OVH infrastructure to whoever opens it, so enable it only if you're comfortable with that. While disabled, the KVM / IPMI tab is hidden from staff and clients on every service using the row.
Add the module row first — package fields load live from the OVH catalog. Under Packages > Add Package select module OVH Dedicated Servers and set:
Under Settings > Company > Automation (Module tasks):
| Task | Interval | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Check OVH Dedicated Server Orders | 5 minutes | Tracks pending orders, links delivered servers, installs the default OS if needed |
| Sync OVH Dedicated Server Option Prices | Daily | Rebuilds the margin-priced configurable options from the OVH catalog |
Heads-up: dedicated servers are the most expensive thing this suite can auto-buy. Test with the import path first, and keep the package inactive until the margin and default addons are what you intend.
