The OVH Dedicated Servers module sells every OVH dedicated range — Eco (Kimsufi, So you Start, Rise) and Bare Metal (Advance, Scale, High Grade) — with auto-ordering or import of servers you already own. Day-to-day operation is in OVH Dedicated Servers — Service Management.

1. Install the module

Upload ovh_dedicated to components/modules/, then go to Settings > Company > Modules > Available and click Install on OVH Dedicated Servers.

2. Pick the right endpoint

Legacy brand tokens can manage servers already on those old accounts, but new Eco orders go through the main endpoints. The US endpoint is a separate legal entity (separate credentials) and has no Eco range.

3. Add an OVH Account row

On the module's Manage page click Add OVH Account: name, endpoint, OVH Subsidiary (must match the endpoint) and the three API keys, minted with rights on /me/*, /order/*, /dedicated/*, /ip/*, /services/* — see OVH API Credentials, Endpoints & Subsidiaries. The connection is validated before the row saves.

The row also has an Enable the KVM / IPMI console tab checkbox, off by default: the OVH-hosted console reveals OVH infrastructure to whoever opens it, so enable it only if you're comfortable with that. While disabled, the KVM / IPMI tab is hidden from staff and clients on every service using the row.

Two more row settings shape the storefront:

• When OVH Retires a Plan — hide the package, or keep it visible as out of stock. The sync also shows a package as out of stock automatically while the OVH availability API reports no datacenter stock for its plan, hides individual sold-out datacenters from the Location option, and restores both when stock returns. The order itself checks the chosen datacenter's stock at OVH once more before it places the order: a sold-out datacenter is refused with a clear message and no order is placed. • Hide the OVH brand in option names — remove "OVH" from synced option labels and value names for a white-label storefront.

4. Import products (recommended) or create packages by hand

The fast path is the Import Products section on the module's Manage page: it lists the plans of both ranges (Eco and Bare Metal) with their specifications and OVH monthly/yearly costs. Tick the plans, set the margin, the package group, the status and the billing terms, and click Import Selected Plans. To create a package by hand instead, add the module row first — package fields load live from the OVH catalog. Under Packages > Add Package select module OVH Dedicated Servers and set:

• Server Range — Eco or Bare Metal; determines which OVH catalog the plan comes from.
• Server Plan — pick a plan belonging to the selected range.
• Datacenter — the default location (clients can pick their own when the Location option is offered).
• Default OS Template — installed automatically after delivery; clients can pick their own when the OS option is offered.
• Default addons — one select per mandatory addon family (Eco plans require RAM, storage and bandwidth). Automatic uses the plan's first available addon; clients can override these through configurable options at order time.
• Margin (%), Offered Billing Terms, Price Sync and Offered Options — see Product Import, Margin Pricing & Configurable Options.

5. Verify the cron tasks

Under Settings > Company > Automation (Module tasks):

Heads-up: dedicated servers are the most expensive thing this suite can auto-buy. Test with the import path first, and keep the package inactive until the margin and default addons are what you intend.

6. Welcome email and root credentials

The module never sees the server's root password — OVH keeps all credentials on its side:

• OVH delivers the bare server first; the cron then installs the chosen OS template. OVH sends the install-completion email (with the first credentials) to your OVH account address, not to the client.
• The client's service page shows the live IP addresses (IPs tab) and offers an OS reinstall action; a reinstall produces fresh credentials the same way. The KVM / IPMI console tab is available when you enable it on the OVH Account row.

Set each package's Welcome Email so the client knows what to do. Do not put the service-name tag in this email — the server name arrives after delivery through the cron. A safe template:

Subject: Your dedicated server is being deployed

Hello {contact.first_name},

Thank you for your order. Your server is being deployed and the operating system installs automatically. This can take from minutes to some hours.

1. Log in to the client area.
2. Open Services and select your server. The server name, the IP addresses and the controls appear there when deployment completes.
3. We send you your first login credentials as soon as the installation completes. Change the password at your first login.
