The File Manager tab lets you work with your bucket entirely from the browser — no S3 client needed.
Browsing
- Files and folders are listed with their name, last-modified time and size.
- Click a folder to enter it; use the breadcrumb path at the top to jump back up.
- Large folders are paginated with Next / Previous buttons.
Uploading and folders
- Upload File uploads into the folder you are currently viewing.
- Upload File To New Path creates a new folder by uploading a file into it (object storage has no empty folders — a folder exists once it contains at least one file).
Sharing files
Every file has a Share action that generates a temporary download link:
- The quick share link is valid for 12 hours.
- Need a different lifetime? Use the custom generator and set days, hours and minutes; the dialog shows the exact expiry time before you copy the link.
- Share links work for anyone who has them, without logging in — treat them like the file itself.
- A link cannot be revoked once created; it simply expires. For sensitive data use short lifetimes.
Deleting
Delete removes a file permanently (with a confirmation prompt). Deleting a folder removes it with its contents. If versioning is enabled on the bucket, previous versions are retained according to your versioning settings.
