Usage & Quota — Reading the Usage Tab

The Usage tab is a read-only dashboard of your storage consumption. Usage is sampled automatically about once per hour, so new activity can take up to an hour to appear.

Disk usage and quota

Two cards at the top show your current disk usage and your bucket quota.

If your plan has a quota, a progress bar shows how full the bucket is:

  • Green — below 70% used.
  • Orange (warning) — 70–89% used.
  • Red (danger) — 90% or more used. At 90% you may also receive an automatic email alert.

When the bucket passes ~80% full, an upgrade card appears offering to increase your quota through the service's configurable options — the change applies immediately after checkout.

Monthly usage

Two cards summarize the current month and the previous month:

  • Egress — data downloaded from your bucket (this is the bandwidth that can be billed).
  • Billable Egress — egress above your plan's included allowance.
  • Storage (GiB-month) — your average disk usage over the month.
  • Billable Disk — shown only if your plan bills for disk overage.
  • Ingress — data uploaded to your bucket. Shown for information only; uploads are never billed.
  • Estimated Amount — the estimated overage charge for that month, in your currency.

"No usage snapshot yet" simply means no sample has been collected for that month yet.

See Billing, Overage & Cancellation for how the estimated amounts translate into invoice charges.
